ABOUT CONSEQUENCE MAPPING
Consequence mapping is an innovative team-based approach designed to help organizations with long-term strategic planning. The approach provides a structured methodology for eliciting information about an organization and making interconnections among the various pieces of information. This network of information and interconnections is placed into a logical and actionable framework for analysis of short-term and long-term performance along with intended and unintended consequences of various possible decisions or actions. Consequence mapping provides the most comprehensive problem-solving technique and applies it to the realm of strategic planning to ensure organizations understand all possible trade-offs as they move forward with their plans
